Step 1: Step Back
As women, stepping back allows you to move from reacting to your circumstances to identifying and observing them with clarity. This step helps you create distance between your current challenges and the subconscious programming—beliefs and patterns—instilled in you from an early age. By stepping back, you gain the perspective needed to understand how these patterns impact your life.
Step 2: Let Go
Transformation begins with letting go. This step is about releasing old beliefs, thoughts, and habits that no longer serve you—beliefs and thoughts about your worth, capabilities, or the limits placed on you by others or yourself. Letting go creates space to craft new, empowering beliefs, thoughts, and habits that reflect the woman, and leader you want to become.
Step 3: Say Yes to Self
This step is about embracing who you are now and who you are becoming. By saying "yes" to yourself, you anchor in new beliefs, thoughts, and habits that honor your true potential and align with your healthiest, most authentic self. This is a big question. Although they both advise and assist individuals, there are significant differences between life coaches and therapists. A life coach looks at your present to help you create the future you desire, while a therapist looks at your past to help you manage your present. A life coach helps people get clarity on their goals and uses a mostly forward-looking approach to take action for the future using goal-setting activities and other personal development exercises. Oftentimes a therapist helps people deal with and process past trauma or difficulties, focusing mostly on the issues that have been a problem in the past.
Working with a coach can offer you a range of benefits that can positively impact your personal and professional life.

All kinds of people use life coaches, including actors, business leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, executives, homemakers, managers, professionals, small business owners, and start-up pioneers. No matter where you are in life, a life coach can provide valuable support, guidance, and accountability to help you achieve your goals and live a more fulfilling life.
The number one reason people hire a life coach is to gain clarity and direction in their lives. This often involves identifying goals, uncovering purpose, and creating actionable plans to overcome obstacles. People seek coaching to address various aspects of life, such as career transitions, improving relationships, boosting self-confidence, achieving work-life balance, or navigating personal growth and change.
A life coach provides support, accountability, and an external perspective, helping clients break through barriers and stay focused on achieving their goals. For many, this guidance helps them move from feeling stuck or uncertain to empowered and proactive.
What area of life feels most stuck right now? Take a moment to really reflect on that. What's holding you back? What dreams or aspirations have you been putting on hold?
You'll have opportunities for self-reflection and exploration throughout your life coaching sessions. I will ask questions that help you uncover limiting beliefs or thinking patterns holding you back. I will also ask you to reflect on your successes and failures and what you can learn from them. My goal is to help you explore yourself to the fullest so that you can get in touch with who you are and what you want.
The frequency of coaching sessions depends on the individual and their goals. Some folks might benefit from weekly sessions for that consistent support and accountability, while others might find that biweekly or even monthly check-ins work best for them, it's about finding that sweet spot where you're making progress without feeling overwhelmed.
Unfortunately, health insurance typically does not cover life coaching. While many insurance providers cover services such as therapy, counseling, and psychiatric treatment, life coaching falls outside the scope of these covered treatments. Here’s why:
Different Purposes: Life coaching and therapy serve different purposes. Therapy is often used for the treatment of mental health conditions, whereas life coaching focuses on personal development, goal-setting, and overcoming challenges. Life coaches help clients clarify values, set goals, and provide perspective on various aspects of life.
Coverage Limitations: Health insurance plans vary, but most do not include coverage for life coaching. Insurance companies prioritize medically necessary treatments, and life coaching is not considered such a treatment. Life coaching is not intended to diagnose or treat psychiatric conditions, which is why it doesn’t fall under insurance coverage.
In summary, if you’re seeking life coaching services, it’s essential to understand that insurance coverage is unlikely. You may need to explore other payment options or consider self-pay for life coaching sessions. Keep in mind that while insurance doesn’t cover life coaching, it can still be a valuable investment in your personal growth and well-being!
Life coaching does not qualify for HSA or as a tax deduction.
Health coaching only qualifies for HSA for doctor-diagnosed obesity and diabetes.
