A little about me, and why I became a Health and Life Coach and created the Finding Resilience with Leann YouTube Channel.
In 2019 and 2020 I suffered with PTSD daily for 7 months due to reliving trauma triggers from 20+ years prior. After quitting multiple times and returning to work out of guilt, I finally quit my job and decided to leave the legal profession which had been my career for 13 years.
I was drowning in trauma soup. Brain fog, memory loss, fear, self-doubt, it was terrible. I thought I had lost my resilience, my ability to keep trudging forward through life’s worst moments. It was gone. My confidence in my skills and abilities were gone. I had to find a way out of the darkness and back to my light.
That’s when I found a program to become a certified Life and Health Coach. I could re-learn what was missing while learning new skills that could help others reduce their stress, make changes like finding a new career/or calling, leaving a toxic relationship (I did that too), learning how to live a new life with purpose. I completed my certification as a Certified Health and Life Coach in September of 2022, and became an entrepreneur and business owner.
If you're ready to make a change, you're in the right place. I will share the tools I developed and learned from others to overcome fear, self-doubt, brain fog, anxiety, and panic. I share the skills I developed and learned from others to become an entrepreneur and create a thriving business in less than a year.
The key to my success is self-education and learning from others who have achieved success.

My intention is to help you listen to your gut wisdom. Healing only happens in a relaxation state. You cannot heal in a stressed state. You will learn how to unblock the tension you are feeling using your breath. Our story creates our biology. Fear or stress, when it's chronically felt and experienced, slows metabolism, increases depression, and influences our overall wellbeing.
This is a conscious breathing two minutes to relaxation meditation. You can do this anywhere, anytime, and I love it because it’s free. So many of us eat on the run, eat fast because of our jobs, don’t slow down and savor the flavors. Here is a way to utilize your senses to slow down. Breathing before and during meals is a great way to help you become a relaxed eater and boost your metabolic power. You can also do this in your car, at work, before bed.
Life today is short on balance and long on stress! lt's easy to feel overwhelmed, hassled, isolated and totally out of balance. (Hey, you're in good company.)
How do we find a better emotional balance? Don't leave it to chance or some accident of the universe. A well-fed brain is the key; make sure you have a daily range of activities that strengthen your brain in different ways. By keeping your brain healthy, you can create a better, happier balance in your life AND share that with those around you.
